• Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of managing vendor relationships effectively.
• Excellent analytical skills with a strong understanding of inventory management systems.
• Adept at using software tools for data analysis and reporting related to supply chain metrics.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• A proactive approach towards problem-solving with strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies for dyes and chemicals to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure uninterrupted supply;
• Oversee the end-to-end supply chain process ensuring timely delivery and compliance with quality standards;
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors while maintaining strong relationships with existing ones;
• Manage vendor-related activities including negotiations, bills clearance, audits, and performance rating;
• Plan and supervise purchase operations for dyes and chemicals ensuring optimum stock levels across all factory units;
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, vendor agreements, and supply performance;
• Ensure adherence to all safety regulations related to the handling, storage, and transportation of dyes and chemicals;
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to maintain optimal inventory levels and avoid shortages/overstocking;
• Lead and mentor the procurement team for dyes & chemicals;
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Finance teams to align procurement with business goals;
• Work with Inventory team for making, implementing & monitoring effective procurement/ sourcing schedules & stabilizing the quantity limits for effective inventory control (minimum reorder quantity, etc.;
• Ensure to submit bills and other documents regularly and properly to concerned departments to clear payments as per committed period with the vendor;
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations related to handling chemicals throughout the supply chain;
