- Strong analytical and data-driven mindset, with the ability to leverage market intelligence and digital tools to inform strategic decisions.
- Proven expertise in supplier due diligence, vendor onboarding, risk assessment, and long-term supplier relationship management.
- Deep knowledge of yarn, trims, accessories, packaging materials, and international goods sourcing, with a strong network of local and global suppliers.
- Experience in implementing sustainability, compliance, and traceability standards aligned with the requirements of leading global brands.
Responsibilities & Context:
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies specific to electrical, mechanical, and spare parts requirements;
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers/vendors to ensure quality, timely delivery, and cost competitiveness;
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and credit terms with suppliers;
- Implement inventory control systems (FIFO, LIFO, JIT, etc.) for spare parts;
- Manage end-to-end procurement, logistics, and distribution of spare parts to various plants;
- Continuously monitor market trends for price fluctuations in electrical, mechanical, and spare parts;
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and credit terms with suppliers;
- Prepare regular reports on supply chain performance, costs, and risks for management review;
- Establish a data-driven procurement dashboard to monitor costs, supplier performance, and lead times;
- Lead cost-reduction initiatives through strategic sourcing, supplier consolidation, alternative market development, and bulk procurement strategies;
- Collect, Forecast and analyze the market data for operating plan;
- Build organizational capabilities to adapt to global sourcing challenges and future business needs.
