Job Context:
∎ The purpose of Strategic Risk Management is to safeguard bKash, its investors, customers, reputation, assets, and the interests of stakeholders by identifying and managing internal and external threats to the achievement of its strategic goals and business objectives.
∎ Collaborate with the business teams to ensure that risks are identified, quantitatively or qualitatively measured, and considered in risk management from Strategic perspective.
∎ Support implementing Strategic Risk Management framework and organisations’ ability and capacity to predict and react to any incident.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Key Responsibilities / Input
∎ Assist identifying the strategic risks and risk owners, coordinate risk assessments, facilitate the prioritization of risks and develop and communicate risk reports.
∎ Assist research and analyse information on industry, market, regulatory developments, competition activities, business trends and related risk exposures to the organization
∎ Support Strategic Risk Management through quantitative risk analysis from internal and external financial or non-financial information.
∎ Development and implementation for market intelligence to identify and collect external data to embed and support the strategic risk management framework
∎ Monitoring and follow up on the implementation of organizations’ strategic risk management action plan or mitigation strategies.
∎ Maintain strong working relationships with businesses and functions through committee and other networks to ensure that all risks to the business, including financial are recognized and mitigated
∎ Assist oversight of organization’s potential reputational risk exposures from available internal and external news and information sources, identification, and assessment of impact, devising mitigation strategy, monitoring and follow up risk responses.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 28 years
∎ Academic Qualification:
∎ Graduation from reputed local or international university in business discipline preferably in Economics or Finance.
∎ Risk Management certification or equivalent practical experience would be preferred
∎ Job experience in relevant industry:
∎ Minimum 4 years of work experience in risk management, market research, strategy & planning, business development role in reputed local or multinational organization
∎ Key Skills:
∎ Experience and knowledge on business planning, corporate finance, and risk mitigation techniques that are appropriate for use in complex, service-based organization.
∎ Excellent in data analytics data, interpretation and, data visualisation skill
∎ Strong analytical and problem-solving skill
∎ Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skill
∎ Ability to demonstrate integrity and confidentiality
∎ Technical/Job Knowledge:
∎ In depth knowledge of risk analysis and management techniques
∎ Ability to perform financial analysis, modelling and forecasting
∎ Knowledge on statistical analysis (variations, regression, hypothesis testing etc) Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power point, SQL,SPSS etc
∎ Interpersonal/Managerial:
∎ Ability to build relationships
∎ Strong listening skill
∎ Emotional Intelligence (Empathy, Social Skills, Self-awareness etc)
∎ Negotiation, persuasion and influencing skill
