∎ Bachelor degree in any discipline
∎ Minimum Graduation from any recognized University.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Knowledge & experience to fulfill ALL Compliance stipulations, obligations & requirements pertinent to Stores – paramount being maximum utilization of storage space.
∎ Fully conversant in conduct of ALL formalities & procedures for loading, dispatch & unloading of goods vide surface transportation including full utilization of loading space but not to the point of cartons getting crushed or damaged at destination, proper sealing of truck with seal number, despatch with escort & avoiding of past late night despatches trucks unless very urgent.
∎ Fully conversant that ALL export cartons need to be weighed electronically before storage in Export Warehouse & random weighment 10-15% prior to loading onto trucks. Also any loose or broken or damaged or loose import cartons need to be weighed, opened, tally with Packing List & only after ALL import cartons are found apropos to Packing List the release of Truck & Escort & signature in Challan to be made.
∎ Knowledge of ALL formalities for the conduct of Inventory, adequate quality checking by comparing with accessory sample list & sample fabric mandatorily to be received from merchandising – otherwise not to accept any goods with default &/or defects in non-conformity with said list/sample.
∎ Fully conversant that any truck carrying goods of various Suppliers &/or Wash Plant for loading/ unloading – must be released after maximum 1 hour.
∎ Knowledge of that ALL goods whether from Purchase Department or from our Suppliers or as imports after entry in Gate Security Register, must be formally received by Stores first & then proceed with issue &/or appropriate storage thereof in designated areas as per policy/procedure in practice. Thereafter issue of the same must be as per policy/procedure in practice. Goods purchased by Purchase Department must be officially receipt only after signature signifying appropriate quality is received on the face of the Invoice by the Initiator originating the Purchase Requisition & only thereafter handover same to concerned department &/or person.
∎ Fully conversant that ALL fabric & accessories issued to respective Production Floors including Cutting, Sewing, Finishing & Embroidery as per procedure & upon completion of individual style &/or purchase order &/or buyer-wise order quantity leftovers must be collected within 24 hours from ex-Factory date of the pertinent garments. These leftover goods need to be properly & securely counted/ stored/stacked/inventoried in designated areas earmarked. The Inventory List attaching sample/swatch of leftovers must be dispatched directly to the attention of Director In-charge Merchandising without any delay whatsoever to enable Merchandisers to rationalize forthcoming import quantities.
∎ Fully conversant that export cartons in non-dry season need to be covered in bulk plastic wrapping to safe guard from rain or water damage while stored inside the truck.
∎ Fully aware that issue of fabric must be after receiving clearance from Technical &/or Merchandising that based on Fabric Inspection Report & Consumption can go ahead cut fabric. Similarly concerned Merchandiser will give OK clearance on quality of accessories & only then issue.
∎ Fully conversant on maintenance, storage & operation parameters of Carton & General Store.
∎ Fully conversant & assure that there will be no haphazard or clumsy storage in Warehouse.
∎ Fully capable to keep & update various Stock Registers of Local/Imported Fabric, Trims, Accessories, Leftovers, Stationary, Printing etc. // To maintain all accessories inventory // Maintaining of Order-wise Swatch Card/Trims Card // Prepared of Monthly Stock Statement and Report for concerned Directors // Capability to comply to requirements Annual Inventory Audit // Capable to prepare swatch and approval after receiving fabric & accessories // Maintaining record of all Orders by Buyers & after shipment prepare Closing Report.
∎ Any other responsibilities that assign by the Management time to time.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Experience Requirements: Minimum 10 years in full time Store concern work in 100% Export Oriented Garment Industry. Less than 10 years experience not required to apply.
∎ Technical / Professional Requirements: Computer Literacy is must.
∎ Proficiency in English language & good communication skill.
∎ Job Location: Chandra – Kaliakoir, Gazipur and Tongi Gazipur.
