Responsibilities & Context:
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies to ensure optimal performance of machinery and equipment.
- Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing training and support as needed.
- Establish and manage preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues in a timely manner to ensure continuous production.
- Manage spare parts inventory, ensuring availability for maintenance activities while controlling costs.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the maintenance team.
- Prepare and manage the maintenance budget, identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Track maintenance performance metrics and report on maintenance activities to senior management.
