Prior experience in handling customized cable production and high-capacity extrusion lines
Proven leadership in cable manufacturing and machine operations

Proficient in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/Tally), MS Office, and production planning tools
Excellent communication, coordination, and team-building capabilities
Responsibilities & Context:
Oversee end-to-end cable production from wire drawing to final assembly, ensuring efficiency, consistency, and adherence to schedules. Manage resources, supervise teams, and optimize processes to meet delivery targets while reducing waste and enhancing productivity.
Plan, monitor, and refine extrusion and assembly processes, executing die/tooling calculations for LT, MV, and EHV cables. Ensure precise conductor, insulation, and sheathing setups to maintain high-quality output.
Design and execute die/tooling requirements for various cable types, including flexible, compacted, and specialized conductors. Work closely with production to ensure tooling efficiency and product accuracy.
Develop daily-to-monthly production schedules aligned with customer orders. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to balance workloads, optimize machine utilization, and meet delivery commitments.
Supervise manufacturing of custom cables such as fire-resistant, LSZH, silicon, and lead/aluminum sheath types. Ensure quality compliance, minimize rejections, and meet client specifications.
Lead Lean, 5S, and Kaizen initiatives to enhance operational efficiency. Monitor OEE, identify bottlenecks, and implement continuous improvement projects for sustainable productivity gains.
Operate and troubleshoot major production equipment, including CCV, Sioplas, and sheathing lines. Work with maintenance teams on preventive upkeep, minimizing downtime, and supporting new equipment installations.
Ensure proper usage of copper, aluminum, PVC, XLPE, and other critical materials. Monitor consumption, reduce wastage, and maintain accurate inventory records with procurement and stores.
Ensure production compliance with ISO, IEC, BS, VDE, BDS, and customer-specific standards. Conduct in-process checks, collaborate with QA/R&D, and lead root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Drive a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous learning. Enforce HSE standards, maintain shopfloor organization, and lead skill development programs to build an engaged, high-performing workforce.
