Responsibilities & Context

Strategic & Managerial Leadership

• Develop and implement the overall security strategy, policies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) aligned with company and compliance requirements.

• Supervise and guide the Security In-Charge, supervisors and overall security team to ensure consistent enforcement of security standards.

• Oversee incident management, ensuring timely response, investigation, and documentation of all security-related cases.

• Lead security audits and recommend improvements based on findings.

Operational Oversight

• Ensure effective gate control systems, including visitor access, worker movement, vehicle entry/exit, and goods verification.

• Monitor and evaluate CCTV surveillance and electronic security systems initiate upgrades as necessary.

• Establish a 24/7 monitoring framework for all security posts and coordinate periodic inspections to maintain discipline and vigilance.

• Oversee management of ID cards, access control, and key control systems.

• Coordinate with HR and Admin for maintaining discipline, absenteeism control, and crowd management during shift changes or events.

Compliance & Safety Alignment

• Ensure compliance with RSC/Accord, Fire Safety, and other buyer or certification requirements related to security and emergency preparedness.

• Collaborate with the Safety and Compliance teams to maintain emergency evacuation plans, fire drills, and crisis response protocols.

• Maintain liaison with local law enforcement agencies, industrial police, and fire service departments for safety cooperation.

People & Resource Management

• Provide leadership and training to all security personnel to build professionalism, alertness, and integrity.

• Evaluate and manage third-party security service providers, ensuring quality and accountability.

• Prepare security performance reports, manpower plans, and cost analyses for management review.

• Ensure proper handling and maintenance of security equipment, vehicles, and communication tools.

Crisis & VIP Management

• Lead crisis management operations during emergencies such as fire, unrest, or natural disasters.

• Plan and execute VIP movement and close protection protocols during buyer visits, audits, or management programs.
