Responsibilities & Context:
  • Lead the integration of sustainability practices, promoting environmental responsibility and ethical business conduct across operations.

  • Drive operational excellence initiatives to improve efficiency, streamline processes, and enhance overall organizational performance.

  • Coordinate laboratory equipment calibration with external agencies to ensure accuracy and compliance.

  • Manage and resolve customer complaints on a priority basis to ensure high customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.

  • Conduct research and development (R&D) activities to improve product quality and introduce innovative solutions.

  • Develop, implement, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent product quality.

  • Analyze and report quality data to SBU and Operations Head to support timely and informed decision-making.

  • Review daily in-process quality assurance reports and ensure corrective actions where necessary.

  • Identify opportunities for cost optimization and drive process improvements within the department.

  • Prepare and manage annual departmental budgets in coordination with Factory Head and Finance team.

  • Liaise with Supply Chain Management (SCM) to ensure the procurement of quality raw materials and additives.

  • Lead training, coaching, and development initiatives for the quality team to enhance capability and performance.

  • Develop succession plans and build talent pipelines to ensure business continuity and growth.

  • Implement cost-effective quality solutions to improve operational efficiency and maintain quality standards.

  • Optimize departmental processes and support ERP system integration for improved workflow and data management.

  • Ensure effective departmental planning, monitoring, and control in line with annual objectives.

  • Drive performance management, employee engagement, and motivation through continuous coaching and feedback.
