Job Responsibilities:
∎ Capable of panning for Knitting Production.
∎ Update the production schedule from time to time.
∎ Prepare a report for style-wise knitting time & schedule and provide it to the concerned department (merchandiser, production, management etc.).
∎ Consult with the Production and Merchandising team before making the schedule of knitting.
∎ Ensure good quality yarn before starting the production.
∎ Review the plan on a daily basis and set an alternative plan to complete knitting on time
∎ Reduce yarn wastage problems & improve the quality of the production.
∎ Receive confirmation from the concerned Merchandiser and Technical manager before starting the style-wise knitting production.
∎ Maintain and develop a team of Jacquard operators and helpers to improve the production and quality of garments.
∎ Follow up maintenance of the machines and check daily and weekly Jacquard maintenance reports.
∎ Provide machine maintenance reports to the Management.
∎ Make sure Jacquard operators or helpers collect yarn from distributors after weighing yarn.
∎ Follow buyer's comments as per instruction of concerned merchandisers.
∎ Ensure maximum capacity utilization of Jacquard sections, good housekeeping & proper utilization of manpower
∎ Ensure strong communication between teams to facilitate the exchange of information to implement change and improvements.
∎ Review the daily performance of the knitting production, find difficulties, and set a corrective action plan for the next day.
∎ Take all necessary safety measures in connection with the knitting production
∎ Coordinate with other department heads as required.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 28 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ experience in a similar position in a sweater manufacturing company would be advantageous.
∎ Technically competent to work together with the rest of the technical teams in identifying and finding solutions to the problems faced in the manufacturing process.
∎ Possess excellent communication skills as you will be required to co-ordinate with cross-functional departments and the customer.
∎ Be methodical and good at prioritizing your work under demanding circumstances
