Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for the overall quality and standard production process (starting from the row material collection up to the finished goods) of Factory.
∎ In conjunction with the Factory In-Charge you will prepare production plan as per the requirements from the Sales Department and ensure implementation of the plan, and deliver the requirements on time.
∎ To meet the production target with standard & quality products. You will also ensure troubleshooting of production (if any) and suggest to the Management best economic recipes for production in writing.
∎ Preparing manpower planning and ensure optimum productivity with the best utilization of machines, materials, minimum manpower and gas supply.
∎ Taking corrective measures to minimize wastage of raw materials and finished goods and maximize productivity.
∎ You are to take corrective measures to minimize wastage of raw materials and damage of finished goods. You will monitor utility consumption and see that there is no misuse.
∎ To lead and monitor the activities of clay processing unit (extruder, double shaft mixer), dryer and tunnel kiln and other related machinery and provide necessary guidelines to perform the jobs effectively to enhance productivity and all workers should be given standard operating procedures of equipment’s they are handling in discussion with the Factory In-Charge.
∎ Coordinating with the other departments / sections with a view to keeping production process smooth & unhindered.
∎ Ensuring minimum overtime duty by the workers so that it can be the benefit for the company.
∎ To ensure that all the records, documents & registers of Production Department are being updated & maintained properly. You will also ensure the safety, security and confidentiality of the documents.
∎ You will learn to operate the Kiln and dryer with the help of a coordinated team comprising of Electrical, Mechanical, Quality Control, Production and Kiln and Dryer Supervisors.
∎ Ensuring the calibration and routine maintenance of the machines. You will inform and update the Factory In-Charge.
∎ To ensure available stock of raw materials in economic way so that the production can be smooth & unhindered. To meet this, you will coordinate with the Commercial Department and Purchase Section.
∎ Arranging on the job training for the workers so that all the workers can be technically skilled and optimum utilization of the manpower can be ensured. You will also train up the workers about the industrial safety issues.
∎ In all respect, mentioned above, you will report & update the Factory Management and Top Management.
∎ To submit the Weekly Activity Report to the Factory In-Charge with a copy to the Top Management.
∎ Any other job as and when assigned by the Management.
