Additional Requirements:
  • Age 35 to 45 years
  • Only Male
  • 5–7 years of relevant professional experience in Procurement of pharmaceutical Machineries/Equipment and Supply Chain Management.

  • Experience in a Pharmaceutical Company is highly preferable.

  • Candidates with relevant procurement experience in Construction, Manufacturing or other large organizations may also be considered.

  • Strong negotiation, analytical and vendor management skills.

  • Good knowledge of procurement procedures, sourcing and supply chain practices.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.

  • Strong communication, interpersonal and team management skills.

  • Good command of MS Office, particularly Excel.

  • Sound knowledge of ERP/software-based procurement systems will be an added advantage.

  • Strong sense of integrity, accountability and commercial judgment.



Responsibilities & Context:
  • Develop and implement effective procurement strategies in line with organizational requirements and business objectives.

  • Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, vendor selection, quotation analysis, negotiation, purchase orders and timely delivery.

  • Identify, evaluate and develop reliable local and international suppliers.

  • Negotiate price, quality, payment terms, lead time and other commercial conditions with suppliers.

  • Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, approved budgets and applicable regulatory requirements.

  • Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Quality Assurance, Finance, Stores and other relevant departments to ensure uninterrupted supply.

  • Monitor market prices, supplier performance and availability of materials/equipment.

  • Maintain proper procurement documentation, records and vendor databases.

  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with strategic suppliers.

  • Ensure cost-effective procurement while maintaining required standards of quality and timely delivery.

  • Lead and supervise the procurement team and ensure effective performance of the department.

  • Prepare procurement reports, analysis and management information as required.
