Job Description

  • Manage end-to-end procurement of mechanical & electrical machinery, production equipment, spare parts, engineering materials, and related services/projects.

  • Receive and evaluate Engineering PRs, develop procurement plans, and ensure timely purchase and delivery as per user requirements.

  • Prepare Price Comparative Statements (CS) and negotiate with suppliers to achieve the best balance of quality, cost, and delivery.

  • Develop and maintain a reliable vendor base, including supplier qualification, performance evaluation, grading, and development of alternative sources.

  • Establish annual supplier agreements to ensure competitive pricing, consistent quality, and uninterrupted supply.

  • Identify and implement cost-saving and process improvement initiatives across the procurement and supply chain.

  • Build strong supplier relationships to ensure competitive sourcing, timely delivery, and prompt resolution of issues.

  • Continuously improve sourcing, inventory, and procurement processes to enhance efficiency, lead time, and overall supply chain performance.

  • Handle SAP/ERP procurement activities, including MPN creation, AMPL tracking, QIR management, contract follow-up, and transaction updates.

  • Ensure accurate documentation, data integrity, compliance, and audit readiness throughout the procurement process.

  • Performing any other tasks assigned by management.
