M.Sc in Microbiology/Biotechnology/Biochemistry or other life Science related subject from any UGC approved University.

• Age At least 24 years

• 1 to 2 years working experience in related field from any well-known pharmaceuticals company is preferred.

• Basic knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct environmental monitoring of cleanrooms, manufacturing areas & controlled environments (air sampling, surface monitoring, personnel monitoring).

• Carry out water system testing (purified water, water for injection) for microbiological quality.

• Prepare and maintain culture media, perform media growth promotion tests & manage microbial culture collections.

• Operate & maintain laboratory equipment (incubators, autoclaves, laminar air flow cabinets, colony counters, endotoxin testing systems, etc.)

• Perform microbiological testing of raw materials, intermediates, bulk, and finished pharmaceutical products (sterility testing, microbial limit tests, endotoxin testing, bioburden, etc.).

• Maintain inventory of media, reagents & consumables.
