• Oversee and manage the overall day-to-day operations of the pharmaceutical manufacturing plant.

• Plan, organize, and execute production activities in accordance with approved production plans and business requirements.

• Ensure effective implementation of cGMP, SOPs, safety standards, and regulatory requirements throughout plant operations.

• Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machinery, raw materials and other resources.

• Coordinate with Production, QA, QC, Warehouse, Engineering, Procurement, Supply Chain and other relevant departments for smooth plant operations.

• Monitor production performance, productivity, yield, wastage and operational efficiency and take corrective actions where necessary.

• Ensure proper preparation, implementation and maintenance of BMR, BPR, SOPs, records and other GMP-related documentation.

• Ensure proper maintenance, calibration and operational readiness of production machinery, equipment and utilities in coordination with the Engineering Department.

• Identify operational problems and implement appropriate corrective and preventive measures.

• Ensure proper housekeeping, hygiene, safety and environmental conditions within the plant.

• Prepare and submit regular production and operational reports to the Management.

• Develop and implement strategies for productivity improvement, cost reduction and minimization of production losses.

• Lead, supervise, train and motivate plant personnel to achieve operational and quality objectives.

• Support and coordinate regulatory inspections, audits and compliance activities.

• Ensure timely implementation of Management decisions and maintain effective communication with all concerned departments.

• Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Management.
