• 12 to 15 years of relevant experience in a reputed pharmaceutical manufacturing company.

• Candidates with strong experience in pharmaceutical production management, GMP compliance and team leadership will be preferred.

• Strong knowledge of cGMP, pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and production documentation.

• Proven leadership and people-management capabilities.

• Strong knowledge of production planning, resource optimization and cost control.

• Experience in GMP audits and regulatory compliance.

• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma/continuous improvement methodologies will be an advantage.

• Strong analytical, communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to lead a large production team and work effectively under pressure.

Job Location - Amico Laboratories Limited – Factory Khagan, Savar, Dhaka

• Maintain continuous surveillance to ensure GMP compliance across all pharmaceutical production activities and ensure that finished products are manufactured according to approved specifications.

• Ensure that products are manufactured in accordance with approved production procedures and maintain cGMP quality standards at every stage of production.

• Plan and execute manufacturing and packaging schedules in accordance with market demand and approved production plans.

• Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machinery and materials to achieve production targets efficiently.

• Coordinate with the Engineering Department for prompt breakdown maintenance and timely completion of preventive maintenance activities.

• Ensure proper housekeeping, cleanliness and hygiene throughout the production areas.

• Maintain effective coordination and communication with QA, QC, Engineering, Warehouse, Administration and Accounts to ensure timely product approval, labeling and market release.

• Review and verify Batch Process Sheets, Batch Packing Sheets and Yield Analysis to monitor production activities and promote awareness among employees regarding cost control, productivity and operational efficiency.

• Participate actively as a member of the GMP Audit Team and support the implementation of corrective and preventive actions arising from audit observations.

• Utilize Lean Six Sigma principles and standard work practices to improve production efficiency, reduce waste and establish a culture of continuous improvement.

• Ensure timely identification and resolution of issues that may impede the production flow and achievement of production targets.

• Lead the recruitment, training, workforce planning, work assignment, development and performance management of production personnel, including Production Supervisors, Leads and Associates.

• Monitor production performance against approved plans and take appropriate corrective actions to achieve production targets while maintaining required quality standards.

• Ensure proper implementation of approved SOPs, BMR/BPR, GMP requirements and safety procedures within the production department.

• Promote a culture of quality, productivity, discipline, safety and continuous improvement throughout the production team.
