Job Responsibilities:
∎ *Maintaining the formalities for procuring materials
∎ *Preparing purchase orders, responding to customer and supplier inquiries, reviewing requisition orders to verify accuracy, specifications and terminology, and comparing prices, specifications and delivery dates to determine the best bid among potential suppliers
∎ *Maintain the sourcing of suppliers
∎ *The sourcing of equipment and services from suppliers including Costs, Availability of supply and Delivery timelines
∎ *Negotiate with suppliers to deliver best value to the company
∎ *Negotiate, implement and manage supply agreements for the company
∎ *To prepare the product wise supply strategies for ensuring supply to meet the demand of production at right time with right price
∎ *Sourcing the most affordable materials for the company's manufacturing process
∎ Review stock levels regularly
∎ *Monitoring delivery times to ensure they are on time
∎ *Ensuring the adequate supply of all required materials, components and equipment
∎ Issuance/preparation of VAT Challan as per policy of the Company. Keep up-to-date knowledge on important changes in VAT Act
∎ *Developing cost savings mechanism for the company
∎ *Obtaining suppliers' Terms and Conditions for approval by the Management
∎ *Develops and maintains an effective working relationship with vendors and fosters relations between suppliers
∎ *Resolving disputes and claims with vendors and suppliers
∎ *Coordinating with the Finance and Accounts department to arrange the fund for procurement
