Responsibilities & Context:
ACI Motors Limited is looking for a Manager, Operations for its Agri Machine Factory. The role will oversee and manage the end-to-end operations of the factory, ensuring efficient production, quality compliance, cost control, and timely delivery while maintaining high standards of safety, productivity, and team performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Production Management
Plan, organize and control daily production activities of the plant.
Ensure production targets are achieved in line with company objectives and schedules.
Optimize utilization of machines, manpower, and materials.
Operational Efficiency
Implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce wastage.
Monitor production performance and take corrective action where required.
Maintain proper workflow and production planning.
Quality Assurance
Ensure strict compliance with quality standards and technical specifications.
Implement quality control systems and oversee inspection processes.
Address quality issues and ensure corrective actions.
Maintenance & Asset Management
Ensure proper maintenance and upkeep of factory machinery and equipment.
Coordinate preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
Health, Safety & Compliance
Ensure compliance with workplace safety policies and regulatory requirements.
Promote a strong safety culture across the factory operations.
Ensure adherence to environmental and industrial regulations.
People Management
Lead, motivate, and supervise factory staff including supervisors, engineers, and workers.
Develop team capability through training and performance management.
Maintain discipline and positive working culture within the factory.
Coordination & Reporting
Coordinate closely with sales, supply chain, and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
Prepare regular reports on production, efficiency, cost control, and operational performance.
Support management in strategic planning and operational improvements.
