Job Responsibilities:
∎ Source and develop a crew pool to supply competent crew for MGI Vessels as and when required.
∎ Communicate with local and foreign principals, agent, travel agent or consular section of different countries to process visa.
∎ Maintain and update a database of all crew’s personal data & assignment history.
∎ Ensure to verify all kinds of crew certificates/medical fitness certificates and maintain properly.
∎ Prepare crew change planner on monthly basis to forecast time, port, visa process, crew selection well in time that may help the crew change without delay.
∎ Liaison with the procurement and documentation department to assist for DG Shipping / MMD application procedures, especially for Extension and dispensation.
∎ Assist procurement department for ship’s survey, inspection and up keeping of ship’s certificates.
∎ Ensure to maintain proper documentation for records and flag administration audit purpose
Additional Requirements:
∎ Leadership skill and team management capacity.
∎ Excellent communication and listening skills.
∎ Minimum 5 years in marine and offshore industry as crew manning.
∎ Ability of hazards identification and risk management.
∎ Positive approach in handling critical situation.
∎ Ability to work with direct and cross-functional teams.
