1. Production Planning
* Prepare monthly, weekly, and daily production plans for all spinning mills.
* Allocate production based on customer orders and machine capacities.
* Balance spindle utilization across all units.
* Optimize product mix to maximize profitability.
* Monitor adherence to production schedules.
2. Capacity Planning
* Analyze available spindle capacity.
* Plan machine loading.
* Forecast production capacity.
* Recommend outsourcing or additional shifts when necessary.
* Improve overall equipment utilization.
3. Order Management
* Review confirmed customer orders.
* Prioritize urgent export and local orders.
* Coordinate delivery commitments with Sales & Marketing.
* Ensure timely execution of production plans.
4. Raw Material Planning
* Forecast cotton requirements.
* Coordinate with Procurement for cotton purchasing.
* Monitor cotton stock levels.
* Plan mixing requirements based on yarn quality.
* Optimize utilization of different cotton origins.
5. Inventory Control
Monitor and optimize:
* Cotton inventory
* WIP (Work in Process)
* Finished yarn stock
* Packing materials
* Slow-moving inventory
Maintain inventory within approved targets.
6. Production Monitoring
Track daily:
* Production achievement
* Efficiency
* Waste
* Count-wise production
* Machine utilization
* Delivery performance
Issue corrective action plans where required.
7. Coordination
Coordinate closely with:
* Production Heads
* Technical Department
* Quality Assurance
* Maintenance
* Purchase
* Commercial
* Finance
* Sales & Marketing
* Export Department
8. KPI Management
Monitor:
* Production efficiency
* OTIF (On Time In Full) delivery
* Plan vs Actual
* Inventory turnover
* Cotton consumption
* Waste percentage
* Production cost
* Machine utilization
* Customer delivery performance
9. Cost Optimization
Identify opportunities to reduce:
* Cotton waste
* Idle machine time
* Excess inventory
* Production cost
* Logistics cost
* Energy-related production losses
10. ERP & MIS
* Lead ERP-based production planning.
* Ensure accurate production data.
* Develop dashboards.
* Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.
* Support digital transformation initiatives.
11. Continuous Improvement
Lead initiatives in:
* Lean Manufacturing
* Six Sigma

12. Team Leadership
