Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc in Textile Engineering/ MBA with Merchandising Course from reputed institution
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 8 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Handle all kind of Merchandising Activities at Managerial level
∎ Assist in the coordination of daily operational activities in supplier sourcing, fabric development, sample development, and costing package preparation
∎ Support senior in communication of sourcing requirements to parties concerned and assists in managing sourcing process properly
∎ Assist in preparing required report, documentation, filing work and data entry
∎ Arrange sample dispatch to customers and suppliers
∎ Candidate must have the ability to develop new customer
∎ Ability to deal with the Customers independently from inquiry level up to shipment of orders
∎ Should have good knowledge on Product Development
∎ Must be able to handle development stage activities independently
∎ Must have sound knowledge about product costing & pricing process/procedure for Sweater factory
∎ To arrange all kinds of yarn & accessories both from local and foreign sources as required for production
∎ To maintain on time delivery and quality assurance
∎ Manage client account from order inquiry to shipment, Inventory and Supply Chain
∎ Responsible for proper follow up and committed with the time line given by Buyers and obviously meet the time line
∎ Co-ordinates with production team in order to deliver on time shipment and ensure merchandisers are updating order status to buyer
∎ Work closely with QA to ensure best final product
∎ Co-ordinate customers/suppliers visits and deploy resources accordingly
∎ Any other job assigned by the Management from time to time
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 35 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ 4-5 years' experience in product development area
∎ Experienced in sweater for reputed EU Brands
∎ Analytical skills
∎ Must have good communication skill in English
∎ Computer literate in MS Office particularly Excel
Salary: Negotiable
