∎ At least 10 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Prepare Legal strategic and operational plans and lead implementation to ensure an internal environment in which the Company understands and meets its legal obligations.
∎ Ensure the development and implementation of effective external and internal legal resources and strategies to combat litigation against the Company.
∎ Prepare, monitor, and control the annual departmental budget to ensure expenditure is in line with the business plan.
∎ Evaluate develop and monitor legal priorities to minimize legal risk.
∎ Provide a professional legal service of advice and assistance to all business functions of Apex footwear to achieve an expected business result. Also, provide creative/novel business solutions to a problem while taking a calculative risk and balancing legal and regulatory requirements.
∎ Protect Company’s intellectual property rights and build awareness in and outside the business.
∎ Interpret new legislation/amendments to existing legislation, determine their relevance to the Company’s operations, lobby in favor of the Company position, and ensure correct implementation of relevant provisions by the Company
∎ Provide a leadership role in ensuring all employees understand the legal requirement and ensure compliance with company policies on insider trading, standards of business conduct, records management, and trade/ partnership policy.
∎ To lead a team of Legal professionals to meet the legal objective of the Company and deliver the best possible service.
∎ Implement key legal processes that relate to legal drafting, negotiations, and commercial settlement agreements in order to manage legal risk.
∎ Maintaining proper corporate interactions with the relevant governmental bodies, legislatures, and the community at large.

∎ Attention to detail
∎ Knowledge of Legal matters and should have updated knowledge of Bangladesh Labor Laws.
