Experience Requirements:
∎ 7 to 10 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Import, Project logistics
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Freight forwarding
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Plan and develop the project idea with close monitoring & evaluation.
∎ Monitor Project progress and set deadlines.
∎ Must have good relation & operational knowledge of port and customs authority.
∎ Must have the capacity to handle logistics and supply chain related problems. Overall knowledge on project handling.
∎ Must have a leadership quality to lead the import logistics team.
∎ Must have excellent communication skills to communicate with the overseas Agents & nominated buyers.
∎ Corresponding with POL agents regularly for Prepaid/Collect Shipments, Preparing of Debit note/Credit note and profit share statement also coordinated with accounts team.
∎ Must have the basic idea about the Incoterms 2020
∎ Receiving regular import related phone calls and updating the current position of consignment to C&F and Consignee.
∎ Provide regular support to the sales team.
∎ Must maintain time to time & close communication with our Chittagong Import Operational team to ensure quality services.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 45 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Must have good relation & operational knowledge of port and customs authority.
∎ Must be presentable with good interpersonal and communication skills.
∎ Need to understand the full Import operation activities.
∎ Ability to work independently & provide innovative solutions to the team members in critical situation.
∎ Excellent command (both writing & speaking) in English is must. Proficient in MS offices applications.
∎ Willingness to take challenges and ability to take stress in handling critical situations.
∎ Extrovert in attitude, ethically strong and team player.
∎ Ready to travel/ move as required.
Salary: Negotiable
