Responsibilities & Context:

About This Hospital: Health Aid Diagnostic & Hospital is a charitable healthcare institution dedicated to providing affordable and quality medical services to the underprivileged community in Basabo.. The hospital is committed to delivering compassionate care, effective health services, and ensuring efficient management of its operations.

Position Overview: The Manager will be responsible for the overall administration, operations, and coordination of hospital activities. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills to ensure smooth daily operations, efficient patient services, and effective staff management. The Manager will work closely with the Head Office in Dhaka and report directly to the central management team.

Hospital Administration & Operations

  • Oversee day-to-day hospital operations to ensure smooth functioning.
  • Implement policies, procedures, and standards set by the Head Office.
  • Supervise hospital departments including patient services, pharmacy, accounts, and general administration.
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of hospital machinery, equipment, and facilities.

Financial & Accounts Management

  • Monitor hospital income and expenses in coordination with the Head Office accounts team.
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping of daily collections, expenditures, and billing.
  • Prepare and submit daily/weekly/monthly financial and operational reports to Head Office.
  • Assist in budget planning, cost control, and resource management.

Staff Supervision & HR Duties

  • Supervise medical, paramedical, and administrative staff to ensure discipline and efficiency.
  • Oversee staff attendance, shift management, and performance monitoring.
  • Assist in staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluation in consultation with Head Office HR/Admin.
  • Address staff grievances and maintain a positive working environment.

Patient Services & Community Relations

  • Ensure patients receive proper care and support with respect and dignity.
  • Oversee the patient registration, billing, and discharge process.
  • Handle patient complaints and ensure quick resolution.
  • Coordinate with community representatives, donors, and NGOs to strengthen hospital services.

Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure hospital activities comply with local health regulations and organizational policies.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of patient records and hospital data.
  • Implement safety, hygiene, and infection control standards across the hospital.

Reporting & Coordination

  • Act as the main point of contact between the Hospital and Head Office.
  • Submit regular operational, financial, and performance reports.
  • Attend periodic review meetings with the Head Office management team.
