• Experience in B2B negotiations, group booking management, and supplier coordination.

• Strong knowledge of Hajj and Umrah procedures, as well as international travel regulations.

• Knowledge of online booking platforms and digital marketing strategies for religious travel services is also preferable.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with religious leaders, clients, airlines, and suppliers.

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to provide excellent customer service.

• Fluent in English and Bangla; Arabic proficiency is a plus.

The Manager, Hajj & Umrah Services is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the Hajj and Umrah service offerings. This includes maintaining relationships with religious leaders, managing group bookings, liaising with airlines, accommodation providers, and transportation services, as well as providing continuous support for Hajj and Umrah groups. The position requires strong communication and negotiation skills, as well as an in-depth understanding of the religious travel industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Hajj & Umrah Group Procurement and Communication

• Establish and maintain relationships with Imams, Aleem’s, and other religious leaders associated with mosques across Bangladesh.
• Regularly communicate with mosque representatives to secure Hajj and Umrah groups as part of B2B partnerships with hajj agencies.
• Act as a liaison between the company and religious institutions to ensure smooth coordination for Hajj and Umrah groups.

Travel and Accommodation Arrangements

• Coordinate with airlines to facilitate group bookings, ensuring that travel logistics align with Hajj and Umrah schedules.
• Liaise with Saudi counterparts to procure accommodation and transportation arrangements in Makkah and Madinah, ensuring a seamless and comfortable experience for pilgrims.
• Work closely with accommodation and transport providers to meet the specific needs of Hajj and Umrah groups.

Group Assistance and Support

• Oversee the well-being of Hajj and Umrah groups, providing any necessary assistance or problem resolution during their travel and stay.
• Ensure that all pilgrims receive the required support for travel, accommodation, and religious obligations.
• Address and resolve any complaints or issues that arise during the pilgrimage experience, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

Development of Online Hajj & Umrah Packages

• Provide strategic guidance on the development and promotion of online Hajj and Umrah group packages to increase bookings and engagement.
• Monitor trends in the religious travel market and suggest improvements or adjustments to packages that align with customer preferences and business goals.
• Work closely with the digital marketing team to optimize online visibility for Hajj and Umrah packages.

General Administration and Additional Responsibilities

• Assist the management with any other tasks or responsibilities as assigned.
• Stay up-to-date on Hajj and Umrah-related regulations, guidelines, and best practices to ensure compliance with international standards.
• Prepare reports and analysis on the performance of Hajj and Umrah services, providing actionable insights to senior management.
