∎ Arrange to train all employees for ETP & WTP every month
∎ Proper idea about sledge management & test.
∎ Capable to handle 100% H2SO4 and maintain safety issue.
∎ Must be proper knowledge about ZDL
∎ Every year capable to submit 3R policy to DOE.
∎ MSc/BSc in Chemistry will given preferable.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Ensure smooth operations of Biological ETP.
∎ Clear knowledge about operating ETP plant. Regular checking all machine of ETP (pumps, blower and Moto) that are running without any mechanical problem and take necessary action if required any maintenance.
∎ Collect data and Keep record of water balance for different flow meter and energy data form utility department. Conduct ETP wastewater test periodically by DOE (Department of Environment) and Maintain ETP discharge water parameter according to DOE and ZDHC guideline.
∎ Check dosing chemicals quality and quantity regularly and report to assigned person.
∎ Inspect equipment on a regular basis.
∎ Monitor operating conditions, meters, and gauges. Collect and test water and sewage samples.
∎ Record meter and gauge readings and operational data. Operate equipment to purify and clarify water or to process or dispose of sewage. Clean and maintain equipment, tanks, filter beds, and other work areas.
∎ Follow Bangladesh Environmental Protection Agency regulations. Ensure safety standards are met Others Responsibilities: Implement sustainable chemical management system as per ZDHC chemical management guideline.
∎ Update Chemical Inventory in monthly basis for process and non-process chemicals & conduct local/Bangla MSDS/SDS and label for all chemical in all chemical using area.
∎ Ensure MSDS, labeling in chemical store, distribution sub-store, ETP, spot and all relevant applicable area.
∎ To Keep under Microscopic observation of Micro-Organisms of ETP and taking idea about plant condition and measure balance food for bacteria.
∎ Conduct internal audit for chemical store, prepare audit report with proper guidelines and suggestions and share it with relevant personnel and management.
∎ Prepare corrective action plan as per audit finding and share it to relevant sections for solving those issues as early as possible as required by buyer (H & M, C&A. GU, etc.). and ETP must be always keep in green category.
∎ Capable to communicate with buyer.
∎ Conduct chemical handling training, PPE training, Emergency chemical spill drill & HIGG related training; prepare documentation of HIGG FEM 3.0 for 3rd party verification.
∎ Monitor and follow-up ETP and guide ETP operator to run ETP smoothly for better performance of ETP; Boiler & WRP water test (Such as Hardness, TDS, PH) and maintain register.
∎ Maintain and optimize chemical dosing with jar test and minimize costing of ETP running; Check dosing chemicals quality and quantity regularly and report to assigned person.
∎ Monitoring rivers water status.
∎ Job Context:AKH Knitting & Dyeing Ltd (AKDL) is a 100% Export Oriented Knit Composite Factory located at Hemayetpur, Savar and a sister concern of AKH Group. We are looking for a skilled and experienced Manager (ETP) .
