Job Responsibilities:
∎ Supervise and manage the stripping and dredging operations to meet goals.
∎ Be in charge of all day to day activities as well as strategic decision by Planning Organizing, and coordinating all activities on the dredging site.
∎ Responsible for all key performance objectives for designated projects
∎ Responsible for preparing and putting together of daily and weekly reports and financial statement at the dredging site that are essential for other top executives within the organization
∎ Prepares monthly budgets for the dredging site activities.
∎ Develops and implement a safety procedure on the dredging site.
∎ Takes charge of all personnel activities and schedules on the dredging site.
∎ Superintends over the cleaning, maintenances of all site equipment.
∎ Monitors the working conditions of all dredging and site equipment.
∎ Must ensure the company’s target is met through appropriate and organized administration.
∎ Will be responsible for maintaining all earth moving equipment’s such as pay loader, excavator, bulldozers and swamp buggy and dredger.
∎ Identify and implement repairs and preventative maintenance as required.
∎ Effectively execute and manage dredging projects with a high-level understanding of the principals and practices of coastal management, dredging and navigation.
∎ Prepare and oversee staff preparation of technical submittals including letters, technical reports, figures, and tables.
∎ Prepare cost and project estimates, project budgets, and schedules.
∎ This position has significant profit/loss responsibility for assigned construction projects.
∎ Maintain a spare parts inventory to support operational goals.
∎ Maintain employee work schedules to efficiently meet operational goals.
∎ Implement and ensure compliance with all safety policies and initiatives.
∎ Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
∎ Maintain a clean and organized work area.
∎ Develop and implement policies and procedures as required.
∎ Establish goals, priorities, milestones and time lines for production as needed.
∎ Collaborate with the team, departments, and management to achieve goals.
∎ Continually analyze and identify opportunities for improvement.
∎ Support and advice staff through hands-on training and collaborative problem solving.
∎ Providing overall management and administration to projects and assisting in establishing project specific objectives and policies
∎ Provide technical direction and guidance to subordinate managers, enforce company and project policies, maintain close client interface, and ensure all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule through subordinate managers and supervisors.
∎ Effectively communicate with various municipality, utility, and government regulating agencies.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 50 years

∎ Minimum of 10 years’ experience in progressive maintenance and supervisory roles.
∎ Working knowledge of dredging operations
∎ Knowledge of applicable health and safety regulations.
∎ Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office products.
∎ Advanced problem solving skills.
∎ Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
∎ Ability to organize and lead meetings.
∎ Ability to obtain cooperation and influence others to work toward a common goal.
