Experience:
Strong knowledge of design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, CLO3D, etc.).
Creative, trend-conscious, and detail-oriented with a strong fashion sense.
Excellent communication and presentation skills for buyer interaction.
Ability to lead a team and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
Good understanding of garment production processes and costing.
Lead the design team in creating new collections based on buyer requirements, global fashion trends, and seasonal forecasts.
Research market trends, color palettes, fabrics, and trims to develop innovative concepts.
Coordinate with merchandising, sampling, and production teams to ensure design feasibility.
Develop mood boards, CADs, and tech packs with accurate specifications.
Manage sample development, review fit, and ensure timely submission to buyers.
Collaborate with buyers and provide creative input during presentations.
Ensure cost efficiency and design adaptability for bulk production.
Train and mentor junior designers to enhance creativity and technical skills.
Maintain a digital archive of design developments and trend research.
