Educational Requirements:
∎ B. Sc / M. Sc in Animal Husbandry or any related discipline from any reputed Agriculture University
Experience Requirements:
∎ 8 to 10 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Cattle farming, Dairy Farm, rearing of poultry and livestock
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible to run, monitor and control the overall operations smoothly of Dairy and Poultry Farm considering modern Farm management concept & technologies, including responsible to:
∎ Production feeding, milking, bottle calves, bedding stalls, cleaning, disease control measures etc.
∎ Implementing breeding programs based on best practices to ensure high quality milk production.
∎ Follow dairy and poultry farms directives and veterinarian program.
∎ Monitor and control health, environmental & nutritional requirements, health of cattle and poultry to detect illness or injury and taking action to remedy the situation and administer medications, vaccinations and other medical care and coordinate with veterinarians as needed.
∎ Ensure a safe and clean working environment in compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain liaison with livestock department ensuring that firm activities comply with government regulations.
∎ Ensure all organic dairy and poultry sanitation procedures are followed.
∎ Using modern methodologies that ensure highest growth for cattle etc.
∎ To provide report to management daily, weekly & monthly.
∎ Perform any other jobs as and when assigned by the management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 35 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Must stay in Farm, accommodation is provided by the company.
∎ Knowledgeable of disease and injury treatment and calf pulling.
∎ Knowledgeable in dairy and poultry nutrition.
∎ Ability to motivate employees.
∎ Ability to work with all types of people.
∎ Ability to communicate with a broad spectrum of individuals.
∎ Knowledge of milking procedures.
∎ Course or certification in veterinary will get preference.
∎ Only those who have experience as a manager in a dairy farm are encouraged to apply
