Job Responsibilities:
∎ Manages requirements for meetings in support of the Board of Directors .Writes resolutions, identifies substantive issues that require corrective action, monitors outcomes and provides advice to senior management on the decision-making process, including Executive and Board of Directors in terms of reference, composition and authority levels.
∎ Researches and writes corporate reports and memoranda for review or approval of the Board of Directors .Completes quality assurance activities for agenda items to ensure accordance.
∎ Develops procedures and implements guidelines pertaining to the BOD and decision-making processes; advises other employees on their application. Monitors compliance with such guidelines and recommends improvements.
∎ Prepares briefing notes on agenda items and documents regarding approval procedures and policy formulation principles for use by the Board of Directors. Implements internal schedules to ensure the timely receipt of appropriate documentation from relevant functional areas.
∎ Liaises with functional representatives on regulatory, Board and policy matters.
∎ communicates and interprets the corporate regulatory and policy processes and functional representatives. Convenes inter-functional meetings to address and resolve issues prior to presentation to the Board of Directors.
∎ Maintains the life cycle of the BOD by monitoring adherence to the governance framework, tracking initiatives throughout the year, ensuring any adjustments according to new requirements, monitoring activities, presentations, documents, and/or reports that will allow the BOD to fulfill their responsibilities.
∎ Manages the records management framework.
∎ Fosters a positive work environment and culture that brings out the best in people. Provides clear objectives, and development opportunities for team members.
∎ Maintains a network of internal and external contacts to regularly benchmark and remain current on trends and developments related to government standards, industry practices, legislation, guidelines, technologies, and programs related to corporate governance.
∎ Undertakes special assignments on behalf of the BOD such as, preparing reports, research papers and other material for submission to senior management, the Board of Directors.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 28 to 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Strong oral and written communication skills.
∎ Proficient computer skills and competent with Microsoft Office programs.
∎ Excellent team building and leadership skills and experience.
∎ Sound organizational, analytical, judgment and decision-making skills with proven abilities in problem solving.
∎ Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to build and maintain relationships.
∎ Taking notes, Picking Phones, Scheduling of emergency appointments by BOD
∎ Provide information to Executive Officer and Reporting to BOD.
