  • 7–10 years of experience in managing and supporting Internet Banking systems in a commercial bank or financial institution.

  • Strong expertise in React, ReactJS, and the Java Spring Framework.

  • Experience with IBM WebSphere Liberty, AIX servers, and Oracle or DB2 databases.

  • Proven ability in SQL scripting, database administration, and performance optimization.

  • Experience in vendor management, system go-live coordination, and production support.

  • Familiarity with DevOps, application security, and system monitoring tools will be an added advantage.

  • Customer-centric, self-motivated, a team player, and capable of meeting deadlines.

BRAC Bank seeks an ambitious, intelligent, purpose-driven, and enthusiastic individual for the following position under its Technology Division:

The role is responsible for managing and supporting the bank’s digital banking platform ‘Astha’, including system development, deployment, and ongoing maintenance. The incumbent will work closely with internal stakeholders, vendors, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless customer experience, high system availability, and continuous improvement of the digital banking ecosystem

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

System Development & Enhancement

  • Work with business units to gather and analyze requirements for new Internet Banking features and improvements.

  • Lead and assist in application development using React, ReactJS, and the Java Spring Framework.

  • Oversee the entire SDLC - from requirement analysis, design, development, testing, and UAT to go-live support.

  • Collaborate with UI/UX teams to ensure intuitive and secure customer experiences.

  • Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for solution design and technical integration.

System Administration & Maintenance

  • Manage and maintain IBM WebSphere Liberty and AIX servers supporting Internet Banking systems.

  • Perform routine monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting of production environments.

  • Ensure robust backup, recovery, and disaster recovery mechanisms.

  • Maintain security compliance and perform vulnerability remediation as per IT governance standards.

Database & Integration Management

  • Execute complex SQL queries, perform database performance tuning, and support database administration activities.

  • Ensure smooth API and middleware integrations with core banking, CRM, and third-party systems.

  • Monitor transaction flows and troubleshoot integration or data related issues.

Vendor & Project Management

  • Liaise with technology vendors for delivery, issue resolution, and system enhancements.

  • Oversee end-to-end project management — from requirement finalization to production rollout.

  • Ensure timely delivery within budget and quality standards.
