Education:
    • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Human Resource Management
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management (BBA-HRM) or a related field (mandatory)

  • Master’s in HRM / Environmental Science or related field (preferred)

  • PGD in Social Compliance or PGDHRM will be considered an added advantage

  • Age 28 to 35 years
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills in English & Bengali

  • In-depth knowledge of Bangladesh Labor Law, ILO Conventions, and buyer Codes of Conduct

  • Strong auditing and CAP management capability

  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to perform under pressure

  • Proficiency with HR and Compliance management software/tools

  • Minimum 5–7 years of progressive experience in HR and Compliance in garments, textile, or group of companies

  • At least 5 years in a senior/managerial role in RMG or related industry

  • Strong exposure to General HR, Recruitment & Selection, Compensation & Benefits, Attendance & Leave Management, Training & Development, Legal Compliance, and Code of Conduct implementation

Key Responsibilities

  • HR & People Management

  • Lead HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, placement, and workforce planning

  • Conduct job analysis, prepare job descriptions, and implement KPI-based performance appraisal systems

  • Develop and execute HR policies aligned with company goals

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate HR and compliance teams for high performance and employee engagement

  • Ensure fair and transparent HR processes and succession planning

  • Social Compliance & Sustainability

  • Lead social, environmental, and technical compliance programs across all factory units

  • Ensure compliance with buyer Codes of Conduct, local labor laws, and international standards (WRAP, BSCI, SEDEX, Accord, Alliance RSC, Nirapon, ICS, ISO, SA 8000)

  • Prepare for internal and external audits, manage CAPs, and ensure timely closures

  • Conduct self-assessments (SLCP, Higg FEM, SMETA SAQ) and drive continuous improvement initiatives

  • Maintain compliance documentation and update buyer portals (FFC, FSLM/SLCP, BWB, Retraced, SEDEX)

  • Oversee environmental sustainability programs — EMS, energy, water, waste, air emissions, GHG, and chemical management

  • Conduct training on social compliance, safety, fire-fighting, SOPs, and technical compliance

  • Liaise with buyers, auditors, regulators, NGOs, BGMEA, Labor Office, Civil Defense, Labor Court, and law enforcement agencies

  • Audit & Compliance

  • Capability of Manage audits including BSCI, SEDEX, WRAP, Higg FEM, OCS, RCS, GOTS, GRS, LEED, OEKO-TEX, Better Work, OHAS, Environmental & Chemical Management Systems, Structural, Fire & Electrical Safety, C-TPAT/GSV, QMS, FCCA, and Technical/Product Safety Audits

  • Capability of coordinating with buyers such as H&M, Primark, Walmart, GAP, Zara, Best Seller, Target, bestseller, Inditex, Cosco, and others

  • Development & Sustainability Projects

  • Oversee projects like GEAR, WMS, 5S, Nirapon 90 Days, Low Hanging Fruit (LHF), We Women, Environmental & Sustainability Self-Reliant Programs

  • Implement energy efficiency, low-carbon, and CSR initiatives

  • Leadership & Administration

  • Lead HR, Admin, and Compliance teams to achieve operational and strategic goals

  • Develop and monitor KPI-based performance systems

  • Manage industrial relations, manpower budgeting, and employee retention strategies

  • Supervise foreign employee management, factory vehicle management, and store/production support

  • Collaborate on civil and MEP projects with engineering teams

  • Training & Development

  • Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and implement effective training programs to strengthen workforce competencies
