Monitor workers and officers attendance on a regular basis and maintain overtime records for permanent and casual workers of the plant.
Supervise the payroll software system to prepare monthly salaries and overtime calculations and conduct proper reconciliation to ensure accurate and timely payments for all staff members.
Collaborate with the Head Office HR department to manage the recruitment and selection process and coordinate activities related to sourcing candidates for below officer level, coordinate interviews, and preserve personal files for all employees.
Monitor and ensure cleanliness, utility services, accommodation, transportation, office equipment, and canteen management and take necessary actions to ensure smooth operations in these areas.
Contribute to the development, update, and implementation of administration-related SOPs for the plant.
Assist the plant head in drafting and issuing various official letters, including memos, office orders, notices, circulars, warning letters, show cause letters, inquiry reports and meeting minutes.
Monitor the effectiveness of grievance handling tools and procedures and take immediate measures to address and reduce grievances among workers.
Implement health, safety, and hygiene policies to ensure a clean and safe workplace.
Establish and maintain rapport with local law enforcement agencies and authorities and coordinate with external entities to ensure compliance and smooth factory operations.
Initiate appropriate disciplinary actions in accordance with company policies when required.
Prepare and submit reports on leave, attendance, overtime, worker and employee attrition, stationary usage, fuel consumption, and other relevant metrics to the plant head or as per requirements.
