US-Bangla Airlines, the largest private airline in Bangladesh, is looking for dynamic, motivated, and safety-conscious individuals to join its Safety Management Department as a Safety Officer. The selected candidate will play a vital role in supporting the airline's Safety Management System, promoting a strong safety management & performance, safety culture, and ensuring compliance with national and international aviation safety management standards.
Job Responsibilities:
Assist in hazard identification, safety risk assessments, and risk mitigation across all operational disciplines within USBA.
Maintain and regularly update the Hazard Register and preserve the confidentiality of safety reports.
Assist in conducting internal safety and quality audits across individual departments and external service providers under the guidance of the department in-charges / Head.
Monitor, track, and follow up on corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) from audits and SAFA Check Reports to ensure timely compliance.
Assist in organizing, conducting, and evaluating departmental and unit-level SMS training, briefings, and safety seminars.
Maintain and update the safety training database, tracking records for initial and recurrent safety training.
Prepare and distribute safety promotion materials, including annual bulletins, circulars, posters, and films to promote safety awareness.
Maintain the Safety Management Department’s virtual filing system, preserving investigation reports, safety meeting minutes, and regulatory records.
Assist in tracking Safety Performance Indicators (SPIs) and evaluating the effectiveness of safety risk controls.
Support the periodic review of the Safety Management System Manual (SMSM) and Emergency Response Plan (ERP) to ensure alignment with CAAB requirements and international standards.
Provide data-driven analysis and independent safety advice to the Head of Safety Management (HOSM).
