• 0–2 years of experience in garment merchandising or marketing is an added advantage

• Internship experience in export-oriented garment industry is preferred

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Strong command over English (written and verbal) — essential for buyer communication

• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

• Knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, and production processes is a plus

• Self-motivated, result-oriented, and able to work under pressure

• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills

• Willingness to travel locally and internationally when required

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in sourcing new buyers and maintaining existing buyer relationships

• Coordinate with buyers for order confirmation, sample development, and approvals

• Follow up on all merchandising activities from order placement to shipment

• Prepare costing sheets and negotiate pricing with buyers

• Liaise with production, quality, and compliance teams to meet buyer requirements

• Monitor order status and report to senior management regularly

• Participate in buyer meetings, presentations, and factory audits

• Support marketing activities including developing proposals and marketing materials

• Maintain accurate records of orders, shipments, and buyer communications
