Additional Requirements:
  • Age 25 to 35 years
  • Minimum of [3-5 years] of experience in maintaining injection blow moulding machines, chiller compressors, and/or printing machines in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems related to plastic manufacturing equipment.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Excellent organizational skills with experience in maintaining accurate maintenance records and paperwork.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in a factory setting.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • [Optional: Certification in relevant maintenance or engineering fields is a plus.]
  • Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems and automation.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.

Responsibilities & Context:

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and optimization of injection blow molding machines, chiller compressors, printing machines, and related equipment. The role also includes maintaining precise maintenance records and paperwork to ensure compliance with operational standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on injection blow molding machines, chiller compressors, and printing machines to minimize downtime.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in production equipment.
  • Ensure all machinery operates at optimal performance through regular inspections, lubrication, and part replacements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance logs, service reports, and other required paperwork.
  • Coordinate with production teams to schedule maintenance activities without disrupting operations.
  • Monitor spare parts inventory and reorder as necessary to support maintenance schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols during all maintenance activities.
  • Assist in training junior technicians and operators on equipment maintenance best practices.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance machine efficiency and reliability.
