• Master of Science (MSc) in Civil Engineering

• Master's Degree in Building & Civil Engineering / Bachelor's Degree in Building & Civil Engineering

• Advanced Project Management qualification (PMP, PMI, APM or equivalent)

• At least 15 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Travel Startup

• Minimum 15+ years managing large-scale, complex international infrastructure projects

• Proven track record delivering projects with construction value exceeding USD 200 million

• Experience in ports, container terminals, maritime infrastructure, airports, highways, railways, or logistics infrastructure

• Prior experience in Bangladesh or similar emerging markets is an added advantage

• Strong experience in project & construction management of large-scale, complex, high-end, and special CAPEX projects from fully automated ports and marine works to palaces, luxury residential, 5-star hotels, and associated infrastructure, roads & utilities sectors

• Strong end-to-end project leadership across the full lifecycle from project setup to Go-Live and handover

• Strong knowledge and practice of FIDIC Forms of Contracts and Design & Build or EPC contracts

• Proven capability to lead multi-disciplinary, multi-cultural project teams across construction, automation, equipment, IT, and integration workstreams

• Excellent stakeholder management skills with ability to align diverse internal and external stakeholders

• Demonstrated experience setting up project organizations, governance frameworks, and delivery models

• Strong commercial and business acumen with ability to manage scope, schedule, cost, and risk

• Hands-on leadership style with strong focus on safety, collaboration, and delivery excellence

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

• High integrity, sound judgment, and ability to assess broader organizational impact of decisions

• Good communication skills to guide the project team and stakeholders towards planned targets

• We are seeking a highly experienced Project Director to lead the successful delivery of a large-scale, complex capital infrastructure project in Bangladesh, aligned with APM Terminals' strategic, operational, and governance requirements.

• from The Project Director has full accountability for the project lifecycle establishing the project organization, recruiting and leading the project team, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, integration, and final handover - ensuring the terminal is fully operational and ready to Go Live as per the approved schedule.

• The role requires strong leadership, sound business judgment, and the ability to set clear direction while adhering to APM Terminals Way of Working, values, and governance standards.
