Experience:
Ph.D. degree in Civil Engineering (2003) from Civil Engineering Department or equivalent
10 to 15 years' experience in large infrastructure projects such as Ports, Container Terminals, Marine & Civil Infrastructure, Railways, Oil & Gas, Power, or Heavy industrial Projects
Experience in Coastal Area Developments & Tourism Investments, Marine Transportation, Energy, Oil & Gas Coastal / Marine Constructions, and Coastal Marine Design
Experience working on projects such as marinas, service harbors, industrial ports, container terminals, offshore wind farms, offshore pipeline, beach nourishment, artificial islands & beaches, intake / outfall structures, breakwaters, revetments groins, etc.
Strong multi-disciplinary technical leadership experience in civil and infrastructure projects
End-to-end ownership of project delivery from design through site execution
Proven experience in container terminal or port infrastructure design and construction
Ability to drive design consultants, contractors, and suppliers to deliver compliant and optimal solutions
Strong understanding of APMT standards, local regulations, and international engineering codes
Experience in preparing tender technical requirements and participating in technical bid evaluations
Capability to identify, assess, and mitigate design and execution risks
Strong stakeholder management skills with ability to coordinate across internal functions and external partners
On-site leadership presence with ability to take timely technical decisions
We are seeking an experienced Project Engineering Lead - Civil & Infrastructure responsible for leading the engineering and design delivery of the project from concept through construction execution.
The role ensures that all civil and infrastructure designs are developed and implemented in line with APMT standards, local regulations, and applicable international standards, while meeting project schedule and budget commitments.
The role is a key member of the project core team, based at the project location and reporting to the Project Director, with a functional reporting line to the Head of
Asset Design Engineering (ADE). This dual reporting ensures technical consistency, governance, and long-term design integrity across projects
