Educational Requirements:
∎ High School diploma in the relevant field of expertise (Mechanical, Engineering, Technical, Logistics, Management) or alternatively a combination of related education and experience in this field.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Organization Name :IOM (International Organization for Migration)
∎ Regularly inspect Ukiya Hub and logBase 1 premises and determine necessary repairs/maintenance works that needs to be done. Submits report and recommendation on the repair/maintenance works required to the Snr Hub Assistant;
∎ Perform preventive maintenance related repairs on Ukhiya facility and LogBase 1 (civil works, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, etc.) and their assets;
∎ Recommend to the Snr Hub Assistant, major maintenance/repair works needed to be done;
∎ Coordinate with the Snr Hub Assistant to ensure availability of fuel for all generators and to monitor the fuel consumption of the units;
∎ Coordinate with Mission Snr Hub Assistant in preparing purchase requests for maintenance spare parts and consumables. Prepare and submit utilization report to the Snr Hub Assistant;
∎ Ensure that consumption of fuel for generators is within normal manufacturer determined standards.
∎ Ensure timely approval is obtained of authorized personnel for approval of requisitions, invoices, etc.
∎ Receives requests for repairs and generates work orders specifying the appropriate technical data.
∎ Responsible for overall warehouse and office overall functionality.
∎ At the request of the Line Manager or CoM, participate in staff development and training processes
∎ Act with integrity and professionalism and in accordance with IOM's Code of Conduct, at all times.
∎ Perform such other related duties as may be assigned.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum three years of experience in technical and maintenance, preferably have experience in construction, maintenance and service of genset, water and electrical networks.
