Job Context:
∎ Under the direct supervision of the Coordinator Farmer market, implement day to day activities, according to the budgets and work plans in line with the donor (WFP) and World Vision Bangladesh (WVB) policies.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Take lead in participatory selection of beneficiaries, enrollment, sensitization and mobilization.
∎ Take lead in transaction monitoring at the farmer market centers and ensures adherence to quality of food as per donor and WV standards.
∎ Participate in meetings with the retailors on weekly, monthly and quarterly and provide progress updates to Coordinator Farmer Market
∎ Participate in staff planning and review meetings to track progress.
∎ Mobilize and facilitate the engagements of stakeholders during planning and development meetings, workshops and other fora.
∎ Identify project beneficiaries in collaboration with Local structures and in accordance with the laid down guidelines/rules and timeframe.
∎ Coordinate project activities with CICs, government extension agents and other partners at camp levels level.
∎ Develop the retailers capacity to improve sales as per desired quality
∎ Document and maintain records pertaining to sales, redemption at farmer markets, forward issues to management for decisions and appropriate action in line with WVU and donor policies.
∎ Write up accurate and timely reports pertaining to all planned activities in the required format and submit to the Coordinator Farmer Market
∎ Participate in monthly / quarterly reflection meetings with CIC, protection agencies and UNHCR.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Two years Experience in community work and engagement Agricultural, Economic Development and Livelihood is and added advantage
∎ Experience of the local context of the Rohingya Refugees crisis is an added advantage
∎ Writing and reporting skills
∎ Networking and influencing skills
∎ Ability to communicate in applicable local language(s) is and added advantage
∎ Track record demonstrating high integrity, reliability and dependable
∎ Ability to work with minimal supervision
