Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor's degree in Commerce or Accountancy. Essential
∎ Masters degree in Commerce or Management. Preferred
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide Leadership, technical coaching and mentoring to the respective stakeholders.
∎ Ensure competitive budget development as part of grant applications (concepts, proposals etc.)
∎ Ensure capacity building strengthening of related staffs.
∎ Raise timely the flag for any potential risk and the development and implementation of good internal controls, risk management, and utilization and safe guarding of assets according to WV approved policies and procedures.
∎ Set high quality performance targets, ensure adherence to technical standards, best practices and compliance with donors' requirements and guidelines.
∎ Providing real time accurate financial data, analysis and advice
∎ To manage several grants & any additional roles as and when assigned by the Manager.
∎ To support and work closely with the grants finance manager and all other teams.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Understand development issues . Preferred
∎ Basic knowledge and skills in accounting . Essential
∎ Good time management, organizational and interpersonal skills. Essential
∎ Ability to speak and write reports in English. Essential
∎ Competent in the use of computer programs (spreadsheets). Essential
∎ Basic knowledge and skills in accounting with any Accounting Software. Essential
∎ Strong Financial Analysis skills. Essential
∎ Minimum 3 years' experience in grants finance management (budget proposal stage to close out) of various donors such as UNICEF, UNHCR, CERF, WFP, DFAT, USAID, JPF, KOICA, Private donors etc. Essential
