Educational Requirements:
∎ Master's degree in any discipline
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To ensure community based activities e.g. parenting sessions, LCMC meetings, MCP transitioning, community based events on time and appropriate in the Response Programme.
∎ Facilitate community based networking in the programme areas with the relevant stakeholders.
∎ Support the implementation of the project with UNICEF's standard specially focusing community perspective
∎ Listen community concerns related to project implementation and raise those concerns to the project management to take mitigation measures
∎ To ensure community based activities e.g. parenting sessions, LCMC meetings, MCP transitioning, community based events on time and appropriate in the Response Programme.
∎ Facilitate community based networking in the programme areas with the relevant stakeholders.
∎ Support the implementation of the project with UNICEF's standard specially focusing community perspective
∎ Listen community concerns related to project implementation and raise those concerns to the project management to take mitigation measures
∎ Community level activities e.g. need assessment, problem identification and situation analysis are facilitated according to the project design
∎ Community centered activities including MCP are integrated and well-coordinated with other sectors
∎ At least 95% accomplishment of work plan done according to project goal and approved budget
∎ Strengthen relationship with CiC, Site Management, NGOs/INGOs & other stakeholders
∎ Advocate Education issues come from the community in forums and meetings, collaborate with Govt. and like-minded Non. Govt. organizations.
∎ Facilitate capacity building facilitators by coaching, training, workshop, and orientation.
∎ Preparation of case study and success story on a quarterly basis.
∎ Documentation of all reports and records
∎ Develop and use different SBCC material for Education activities.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 2 years of community development activities/Response works
∎ Master's degree in any discipline.
∎ Must have knowledge and skills on community mobilization in emergencies
∎ Ability to work in different locations as per advise
∎ Oral and written communication skills in English and Bengali (Local dialect of Chittagoinan is highly preferable)
∎ Ability to work in a team
∎ Work under pressure and can take additional responsibilities
∎ Basic computer literacy using of Microsoft Office Microsoft Word, Excel & MS Power Point
∎ 75% field visit in the working area is expected
∎ Good working relationship between CP & Education project and other projects including special projects in the working area.
∎ Secured, safety, friendly and cooperative working environment among the team members
