Position: Legal Assistant

Department: Legal & Corporate Affairs

Job Location: Corporate Head Quarter (Banani, Dhaka)

Key Responsibilities:

• Organize, securely maintain & manage office documents & databases and support colleagues to optimize routine workflows.

• Prepare and enter data for new, renewal, or amended applications (BSTI, Department of Environment, Fire Department, DAE, local authorities and other agencies).

• Collect necessary documents from relevant departments across the Square Group for all license, approval, NOC applications and renewals.

• Pay government fees (via pay order, bank challan, or other methods) and submit all required documents and applications to the appropriate government offices as required.

• Maintain ongoing liaison with BSTI, City Corporation, DESCO & other agencies and conduct regular visits to regional offices & factories to resolve compliance and regulatory issues.

• Assist the Legal & Corporate Affairs Department with legal and corporate tasks and perform any additional duties assigned by the supervisor.
