∎ In this process, BLJ Bangladesh Limited owns 03 companies in Bangladesh they are a Leather goods manufacturing Industry, an Apparel Industry, and an Inspection Company. By the 3rd quarter of 2019, two more projects, one is a Footwear manufacturing Unit and Technical Training Institute are going to be fully functional.
∎ The BLJ Training Institute is aiming to produce skilled and competent professionals for the local and International apparel manufacturing industry. With a unique business ideology and creative academic environment, BLJ is aiming to provide top class training experience to its students and ensure their job placements right after the successful completion of the Training.
∎ To accomplish its mission BLJ Bangladesh Corporation Limited invites application for the position of Lecturer in Apparel Production Management and Apparel Merchandising from the passionate, qualified, experienced and technically sound professionals who are looking for opportunities to involve in the following academic position.
∎ Looking for Lecturer: Apparel Production Management and Apparel Merchandising Management.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Academic:
∎ Deliver lecture and provide guidelines to students.
∎ Prepare Teaching Learning Materials;
∎ Prepare the Course Curriculum and outline;
∎ Conduct Practical classes for students;
∎ Supervise Internship course;
∎ Evaluate students learning;
∎ Develop students attitudes professionally, emotionally, socially and psychologically;
∎ Administrative:
∎ Manage and respond to course-related quires form management, students and guardians.
∎ Attend department/parents and other meetings assigned by management.
∎ Conduct needs assessments of the courses to be offered.
∎ Maintain good liaison with Students, Guardians, Industry and Other Stakeholders;
∎ Organize different knowledge dissemination sessions like seminars, workshops, researches etc;
∎ Take responsibilities of not only conducting classes but also ensure the overall development of the students.
Additional Requirements:
∎ 2/3 years of teaching/ training activities.
∎ Anyone who has experience in working in the industry setting but would like to join in Teaching/Training are welcome to apply.
∎ Must be motivated to work in academic institute, taking classes, students counseling and professional development;
∎ Experience of teaching Yarn/Apparel/Fabric manufacturing courses at University level will be given preference;
∎ The candidate should have good communication skills both in Bengali and English.
∎ Have good management, presentation, communication, and Technical Skills.
Salary:
∎ Negotiable
