• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Engineering

• Age At most 35 years

• Diploma in Textile/ Bsc in Textile Engineering Degree /with 8 years industry working experiences.

• Bachelor Degree with 8 years Institute experience.

• Skills on subject matter.

• Plans, designs and deliver competency based training.

• Individual and group facilitation.

• Competent as trainer on Competency Based Training and Assessment Methodology NSC level-IV.

• Handle the PDW trainees in maintaining inclusive learning environment.

Skills required demonstrating:

• Communication and facilitation.

• Demonstration of skills training on related field.

• Develop and maintain power point presentation.

• Use of social inclusive analytical tools and participatory techniques.

• Woven Sewing Machine Operation-Skills Level-2 (NSDA)

• Competency Based Training and Assessment Methodology NSC level-IV (NSDA) is mandatory

Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) is a National NGO with Consultative Status with UN ECOSOC and UNESCO. It works for social and spiritual development of the community. Founded with the motto of ‘Divine and Humanitarian Service’, over 66 years DAM has been serving the human community for improved living conditions enhancing people’s capacities to multi-dimensional field programs and inner potentials.

The Technical & Vocational Education & Training (TVET) sector of Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) has been playing a significant role in the field of skills development activities in Bangladesh Since 1985. DAM is offering variety of livelihood skills development training courses through vocational training institutes. The skills need of unskilled, unemployed, underemployed and retrenched laborers are being addressed through these skills training along with employment support services. There are seven vocational training institutes (VTIs) located at Dhaka, Gazipur and Jashore district. In those VTIs we are facilitating twelve different courses under readymade garments, informal economy, light engineering and construction sector. All TVET institutions are affiliated and accredited as Registered Training Organization (RTO) from Bangladesh Technical Education Board (BTEB) and NSDA prevailing to contribute in providing the services regarding Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and implementing CBT&A and NTVQF system.

Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) is looking for smart, energetic, dynamic and deserving candidate’s applications for the following position for immediate appointment ongoing Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Sector.

Duty Station: Ahsania Mission Vocational Training Institute, Mirpur-14

Major Job Descriptions:

• Organize and conduct skills training following the CBT &A method.

• Develop and maintain learning materials as per the CBT&A method.

• Organize and conduct formative assessment.

• Organize practical classes in the workplace (Practice in demo).

• Organize and conduct summative assessment.

• Follow up and maintain trainees.

• Ligase with community for organizing practical session.

• Ensuring OSH for trainees and training room.

• Assist center manager to smooth operation of Vocational Training Center.

• Provide information to Adolescent on employment, attendance and related to new trends for the occupations.

• Report to Supervisor time to time to update the program.

• Maintain the stock register daily.

• Any other duties concerned with job assigned by legal management

• Maintain and follow DAM safeguarding and others policy.
