Responsibilities & Context:
- Lead the ideation, design, and development of new products in the home appliance and consumer electronics segments.
- Oversee the enhancement and redesign of existing products to improve performance, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, marketing, quality assurance and global R&D team to ensure seamless product development.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation.
- Ensure products meet regulatory compliance, safety standards, and environmental guidelines.
- Develop and manage R&D budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Gather and analyze customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement modifications in production where applicable.
