Educational Requirements:
∎ Diploma in medical technology (laboratory) from an accredited academic institution

Experience Requirements:
∎ At most 2 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Organization Name: IOM (International Organization for Migration).
∎ Performs biological, hematological, biochemical and other test, and report the results as per technical instruction of the government and IOM guideline.
∎ Ensure standards of laboratory services according to the guidelines explaining the procedures of laboratory tests to the patients
∎ Strictly followed Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) in providing laboratory tests including serology and ensure the results are provided in a timely manner.
∎ Collected specimen specimens in accordance and on advice of the medical staff in the UHC
∎ Ensure the pathological specimens are well maintained in cold chain and assist in specimen transportation with the strict compliance to the instruction of Infectious Specimen Transportation.
∎ Assist in ensuring Quality Assurance measures covering pre-analysis, analysis and post-analysis are optimally undertaken and recorded.
∎ Strictly follow Laboratory Good Practice and Safety Guidelines, in particular, personal protective precaution in specimen collection and testing, biosafety procedures as well as laboratory waste sterilization.
∎ Maintain statistics and indicators in order to monitor performance, risk assessment, workload management and communicate to relevant parties.
∎ Maintain register, data entry into database, records of laboratory test results, and reporting of laboratory results.
∎ Prepares chemical reagents and biological media as per guideline.
∎ Keep record of refrigerator temperature twice daily and maintain cold chain.
∎ Prepare laboratory inventory for supplies and maintain the stock list and assist Microbiologist to manage laboratory inventory.
∎ Strictly follow DGHS and IOM standards with respect to customer-friendly services, confidentialities of medical information, ethical standards and healthy working environment.
∎ Ensures operation of laboratory equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques Participating in field missions out of duty station when/where required.
∎ Perform such other duties that may be assigned by the Supervisor;

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least three (3) years’ experience in laboratory work
∎ Previous experience in international organization is an advantage.
∎ Knowledge and experience with working in the field and medical emergency department and Trauma management will be added as advantage.
∎ Team-Work oriented, capacity to work independently; personal commitment, efficiency, cultures and professional backgrounds at all levels
∎ Familiar with MS Office package

Salary:
∎ Monthly Salary: 39000 & Hardship Allowance: 6000
