Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Regularly test and analyse dyed fabrics and materials to ensure quality standards.
∎ Perform colour matching and shade assessment to meet customer and production specifications.
∎ Monitor the dyeing process and adjust chemical formulations to achieve the desired results.
∎ Record and analyze test data, prepare detailed reports, and communicate findings to the production team.
∎ Inspect incoming dyes, chemicals, and fabrics for quality assurance.
∎ Collaborate with production and quality control teams to identify and resolve dyeing issues.
∎ Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure that it is calibrated and functioning correctly.
∎ Ensure compliance with the laboratory's health, safety, and environmental regulations.
∎ Continuously review and improve dyeing and testing procedures to increase efficiency and quality.
