Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with outstanding Academic results is required.

∎ 1 to 3 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Programmer/ Software Engineer
Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Technical skills:
∎ Excel: able to use filters, formulas, vlookups, etc to cleanse and prepare data for analysis or to perform ad-hoc comparisons of data for report validations
∎ Database knowledge: Familiar with database concepts, SQL, table columns, join types (left, right, inner joins). Will not need to work on the database but needs to understand how a database functions with respect to retrieving data for reports. May need to execute occasional SQL queries to gather data for reports.
∎ Programming knowledge: Conceptual understanding of program logic flow. No specific language is needed since we will use Tableau's formula syntax. But it's very important to understand standard coding logic, such as IF / THEN / ELSE, CASE, string, date, number type conversion concepts, algebra formula concepts.
∎ Reporting knowledge: Tableau or other visual reporting & analytics software like Qlik, Spotfire, Microsoft PowerBI, Cognos
∎ Experience with visual GUI or development IDE. Tableau is visual Windows software and uses a visual IDE to create reports. The candidate should be experienced and comfortable with working in this environment. There is no command line interface; it is all visual.
∎ Ability to create SSRS SQL reports
∎ Ability to read, understand and develop in TSQL and Oracle PL/SQL is preferred.
∎ Self-motivated, willing to learn independently. Willing and able to find solutions using Google and other Tableau support forums. I will need to be able to trust this person to remain productive and not wait for me to provide answers to simple questions that are easily answered online.
∎ Tenacious, determined to stick with issues until they are solved. Does not give up when frequently faced with challenging data issues.
∎ Fluent with English writing, accurate spelling, effective email communications. We will communicate primarily via skype IM and screen sharing.
