Skills Required:
Additional Requirements:
Minimum 2 years in hydrogeology, specifically in borehole drilling supervision, well design, and aquifer testing.
Skills: Proficiency in bore log preparation, well design, and field supervision. Familiarity with AutoCAD/GIS is a plus.
Attributes: Strong problem-solving, ability to work independently in remote areas, excellent communication, and a commitment to safety.
Responsibilities & Context:
Key Responsibilities:
Review and revise Production Well (PW) designs using Test Tube Well (TTW) data.
Supervise all stages of PW installation: material inspection, drilling, soil sampling, well construction, development, and pump testing (Step Drawdown & Long Duration).
Design Community Deep Tube Wells (100mm x 50mm) based on bore log and soil sample analysis.
Prepare bore logs, revise estimates, and submit "As-Built" drawings.
Maintain field records and liaise with contractors and community members.
