• Knowledge of Kaizen, 5S, and cost reduction techniques.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Meghna Re-Rolling and Steel Mills Limited (MRSML), a concern of Meghna Group of Industries is established a top-notch steel factory in Bangladesh with the latest European technologies and machinery having a production capacity of 1.5 million MT per annum. The vision of this concern is to produce world-class re-rolling products and billets, which will meet the uprising demand in the local market and will also bring significant economic growth by exporting around the globe. We are looking for a skilled professional for the Roll Shop of our Rolling Mill Plant to carry out stand and guide assembly, disassembly, preparation, and maintenance. The role involves ensuring the readiness of rolls, bearings, and related accessories, supporting timely section changeovers, and maintaining equipment reliability to minimize production downtime.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure shop-floor safety by following HSE guidelines, SOPs, safe work practices, and participating in safety training and hazard-control activities.

• Prepare, maintain, overhaul, and inspect stands, guides, bearings, rolls, water manifolds, and related accessories as per production requirements to ensure equipment readiness and reliable mill operation.

• Ensure timely preparation and shifting of stands, guides, rolls, and accessories for section changeover to minimize production downtime.

• Perform crane operation, roll assembly, pass grinding, roughing-roll knurling, bearing inspection/fixing, axial-play setting, and cooling-system checks in accordance with SOPs and technical specifications to ensure accurate assembly and operational reliability.

• Maintain accurate logbooks, record jobs/problems, communicate shift handovers, inspect machine-shop/store items, and support skill development through systematic documentation, routine checks, and knowledge sharing to ensure shift continuity, item readiness, and workforce competency.

• Maintain good housekeeping and execute all assigned duties safely, ensuring the protection of self, co-workers, equipment, and continuous mill operation.
